Visiting Mommy's Office

Harrison came to see me at work on Monday while Poppy and Car Car were in town, and we went to lunch with Will at Ted's Montana Grill. He also got to visit Will's office at Turner, where he apparently charmed all the ladies! Here he is sitting in my chair, he loved being spun around in it! He tried to open a SunTrust account but was deemed too short to have a debit card.

Nine Months Old!

Harrison kicked off the big day with his nine month appointment at the pediatrician. He now weighs 22 pounds and is 29 inches long (in the 75th-90th percentile for both). He can move around now by what we call boot-scooting or the Boot Scoot Boogie, scooting himself along the floor on his rear end! He's real close to crawling and can still get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth and scoot backwards on his tummy. He now says "ma-ma" but we don't think he necessarily relates it to his mommy yet!

Spring Break

Unfortunately, the Carters do not have a Spring Break, but Poppy and Car Car Eschen do! So they came to visit us for a few days and we had a lot of fun. We went out to eat, did some shopping, took some walks with the dogs, and watched lots and lots of basketball!

Should I shoot some hoops with this or just try to eat it?

Playing airplane with Poppy - wheeeee!

I just got up and I'm in the best mood!

Poppy and Car Car brought me a great book, my first Florida Gator book!

Poppy sat down and read it to me right away. This page says, "Touchdown Gators!" We sure heard that phrase a lot this past year.

Shopping at Macy's. Step away from the jewelry counter, Car Car......... :)

Having a good ole time chewing on my toast in the Bumbo.

Having a good ole time trying to decide what to chew on now.....the remote or Poppy's glasses case?

Vegas Baby!

Those two words are usually an expression, but in Harrison's case, I think he truly wants to be a Vegas Baby this weekend! Here he is helping Daddy pack for his trip out to Las Vegas. We hope he has fun! Play 6 and 22 on the roulette table!

Look how good I fit in here........are you sure I can't go?

Nature Trails

Today we went to the Dunwoody Nature Trails for the first time. It was a gorgeous day, sunny and in the low 70s so we couldn't wait to get outside. We went on the swings and down the slide, and walked the doggies in a creek so they could do some swimming and get a drink of water.

I've got my hat on and I'm ready to go!

Heading out on the trails.

Hey Mommy, look over there!

Hold on Daddy and doggies, wait for us!

Surprise visit!

We made plans to have lunch with Jeff and Caitlin on Saturday and when we got to their house, Nana and Papa Carter were there too and surprised us! So we spent some time together playing at the house and then went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant (the mango margaritas were delicious!). We all sat outside because the weather was so beautiful!

Caitlin makes me laugh, I love her so much!

Harrison was tuckered out after lunch, so he took a nap on Caitlin's pretty bed.

Caitlin gave us a show on her Heelies!

Faster Caitlin, faster!

Bedtime Stories

Harrison fell asleep on mommy and daddy's bed last night while we were reading him a bedtime story (his favorite book is a Mother Goose one that lights up and tells him nursery rhymes!). Then, it was so cute because Gracie jumped on the bed and wanted to lay down right next to him. Sweet girl!

Meeting Lauren Sager

We had dinner with the Sagers a few weeks ago and Harrison got to meet another "girlfriend", Miss Lauren Constance Sager. I took these pictures with my phone so they're not too clear, but I think the love at first sight comes across!

The two daddies!

James Michael Diffenderffer

Jenny's good friend Erin had a baby boy, James, on January 21st, 2007. Jenny and Kathleen went down to Jacksonville to visit with the Diffs at the end of February. We took walks, went to the beach, did some shopping, watched the Oscars.....all in all, had a very fun and relaxing weekend with Erin, Andy and James (he is sooooo cute and sweet!).

Mommy and son

Put up your dukes!

Hanging out with Daddy and Willy

Jason and Will went golfing this past weekend and had fun hanging out with Harrison afterwards.

Uncle Willy came over the other night and I was so happy to see him!

Then I got really tired and had to lay my head down. I almost fell asleep!

Jaime comes to visit!

Jaime, Jenny's good friend from Wake Forest, came into town this past weekend and we had a great time visiting with her. We went out to eat and did lots of shopping at Lenox Mall. Harrison was a champ, and was very happy in his stroller for the several hours we were out! He definitely loves Jaime and flirted with her heavily!

The vest twins!

Visit with Anna Almstedt

We went to visit Jeff, Sara and Anna a couple of weekends ago and Harrison was definitely interested in that pretty little girl! Jeff was watching him closely.....

Here are some pics from an earlier visit to see Anna.

Starting to crawl!

Harrison is getting close these days! He still can't move forward, but can get on his hands and knees and rock back and forth, and even scoot himself backwards.

He still loves his Jumparoo!
