Keeping Busy

We try to keep as busy as we can at home since it's been so hot outside!

Avery and Harrison have a good time eating snacks at their little table. Avery can now say "cheese" and "water." Oh yeah, another new word is "trouble." I think she hears that one a lot.



Harrison loves the new trampoline!



He and Henry were hilarious jumping on it together. I lost count of how many times they bumped heads or fell down.



Avery's other new word is "book." She LOVES to sit on a lap and read books. Her favorite character is Elmo, and she adores her Elmo books. We keep them in a pile in the family room, and every morning she goes to the pile and says, "El-MO! El-MO!" and wants to read. So funny!

Forks are Cool

Avery used a fork for the first time tonight to eat some raspberries!

A Fun Fourth!

We spent several days in Montgomery with Nana and Papa Carter over the Fourth of July holiday. Caitlin and Jeff were there too, and we had lots of fun staying busy. We all went over to Billingsley to see the extended Carter clan and spend time in the pool, we went to the Montgomery Zoo, and just enjoyed being at the house doing more swimming and playing.

My kids LOVE their "Cay Cay"! They also love to snuggle with her.



One of their favorite jobs is helping Nana water the flowers.

Harrison and Hadley were Diego and Dora at the zoo.....using their maps and checking out all the animals.

Kenley, Jeremy and Avery had so much fun playing together!

Harrison was SUCH a brave little boy and fed the cows some carrots!
